Do you remember pipe cleaners? The colorful, fuzzy, flexible wires that you played with as a kid? Yeah, those things still exist and they are a very, very helpful tool for all things events.

How? You might ask. 

 

Well, they are perfect items to hold any floral arrangements to arches, easels and more. I discovered this hack when a florist had tied a floral arrangement to an arch with pipe cleaners and not zip ties. Zip ties are just a effective but they are challenging to get off, especially when pulled all the way. Pipe cleaners, you just have to twist them off.

With pipe cleaners, you can also match colors to the item that you are trying to hang up. Whereas with zip ties, for the most part, you get the option of black or white.

After seeing a few weddings now with pipe cleaners being used, I will definitely be adding them to my emergency kit.
